Auditions and Stand-In work...

Well, it's been a while since I updated hasn't it? I'm sorry. Forgive me. So, the audition we were at for the video entitled "Hollywood Audition..." produced a callback! I'll tell you about the callback in as second. I want to go chronologically! Last week on Thursday I had an audition in Santa Monica for a commercial. It was a really good atmosphere, and I auditioned with a group of four other kids. On a side note one of the girls looked just like Rory from Gilmore Girls too! They have specific callback dates for that audition, and they are sometime next week. So prayers for that are very, very welcome! Prayers for anything are very welcome! After my audition in Santa Monica we went to the Santa Monica pier and that's the video below...They were filming Gossip Girl at one place and a new pilot from the producers of Modern Family on the pier. When you went on the pier there were signs saying going past a certain point you agreed to being filmed and possibly used for the show. In the background of course. I took some pictures of the pier and I'll attach them. Also, I got some paparazzi pictures of Blake Lively on set from earlier in the day. I think we missed her...But one of the pictures is her with a guy in a puffy black coat that I did film...I think he's a producer or director. Blake Lively is one of the stars of Gossip Girl which is a popular teen dramatic TV show... Santa Monica was on Thursday and it started to rain pretty hard so we left after about an hour. Then Friday I had my private acting coach in the morning then we went to the same studio in Hollywood that you saw before. We were on set from 1:45 till 5:30 I believe. We were just stand-ins to help with rehearsal and putting the production together so it would run smoothly. We did get paid and that was a plus, because we thought we were doing it free. I would say what we were doing and what the production was, but we signed confidentiality agreements. They're very strict. Our stand-in work also acted as a second audition kind of...but we won't know for a little while if we actually are able to do the real thing. This is all so vague...Anyways, we saw a set and behind the scenes aspect and met a not very big celebrity which was very cool. Saturday I had an acting intensive workshop with the Harvey Lembeck Comedy Workshop. It was uh-mazing! I loved it! They have been teaching comedy for 45 years or so, and they use improv scenes to bring out comedy. They trained Robin Williams as well as a ton of other professional comedic actors. Michael Lembeck helped with the workshop and he's director of Santa Claus 2 and 3 with Tim Allen. He also directed The Tooth Fairy as well as Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure. Oh and he has directed a bunch of episodes of Friends and got an Emmy for one of them! So it was super cool to meet him and receive direction from him. On Sunday I started an Improv class at Cynthia Bain's Young Actor Studio where Hailee Steinfeld from True Grit and about 5 million other child stars have studied. It was also super fun! Then Monday I had another commercial audition and it went very well...And callbacks are today! So prayers...yes prayers. We've been busy as you can tell and it's been so, so neat to study at/see/meet all these amazing places and people. That's a little confusing. Hopefully you understand it. Oh, oh and during Improv Class during break the class went downstairs to Jamba Juice and guess who was there?!! Nick Cannon! Aka Mariah Carey's hubby. He was very nice, but I think he wanted to go. The entire class kind of attacked him, including myself. I got a picture. Ok I'm done typing. The end.
P.S. PRAY!
