More pictures from Santa Monica...

Auditions and Stand-In work...

Well, it's been a while since I updated hasn't it? I'm sorry. Forgive me. So, the audition we were at for the video entitled "Hollywood Audition..." produced a callback! I'll tell you about the callback in as second. I want to go chronologically! Last week on Thursday I had an audition in Santa Monica for a commercial. It was a really good atmosphere, and I auditioned with a group of four other kids. On a side note one of the girls looked just like Rory from Gilmore Girls too! They have specific callback dates for that audition, and they are sometime next week. So prayers for that are very, very welcome! Prayers for anything are very welcome! After my audition in Santa Monica we went to the Santa Monica pier and that's the video below...They were filming Gossip Girl at one place and a new pilot from the producers of Modern Family on the pier. When you went on the pier there were signs saying going past a certain point you agreed to being filmed and possibly used for the show. In the background of course. I took some pictures of the pier and I'll attach them. Also, I got some paparazzi pictures of Blake Lively on set from earlier in the day. I think we missed her...But one of the pictures is her with a guy in a puffy black coat that I did film...I think he's a producer or director. Blake Lively is one of the stars of Gossip Girl which is a popular teen dramatic TV show... Santa Monica was on Thursday and it started to rain pretty hard so we left after about an hour. Then Friday I had my private acting coach in the morning then we went to the same studio in Hollywood that you saw before. We were on set from 1:45 till 5:30 I believe. We were just stand-ins to help with rehearsal and putting the production together so it would run smoothly. We did get paid and that was a plus, because we thought we were doing it free. I would say what we were doing and what the production was, but we signed confidentiality agreements. They're very strict. Our stand-in work also acted as a second audition kind of...but we won't know for a little while if we actually are able to do the real thing. This is all so vague...Anyways, we saw a set and behind the scenes aspect and met a not very big celebrity which was very cool. Saturday I had an acting intensive workshop with the Harvey Lembeck Comedy Workshop. It was uh-mazing! I loved it! They have been teaching comedy for 45 years or so, and they use improv scenes to bring out comedy. They trained Robin Williams as well as a ton of other professional comedic actors. Michael Lembeck helped with the workshop and he's director of Santa Claus 2 and 3 with Tim Allen. He also directed The Tooth Fairy as well as Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure. Oh and he has directed a bunch of episodes of Friends and got an Emmy for one of them! So it was super cool to meet him and receive direction from him. On Sunday I started an Improv class at Cynthia Bain's Young Actor Studio where Hailee Steinfeld from True Grit and about 5 million other child stars have studied. It was also super fun! Then Monday I had another commercial audition and it went very well...And callbacks are today! So prayers...yes prayers. We've been busy as you can tell and it's been so, so neat to study at/see/meet all these amazing places and people. That's a little confusing. Hopefully you understand it. Oh, oh and during Improv Class during break the class went downstairs to Jamba Juice and guess who was there?!! Nick Cannon! Aka Mariah Carey's hubby. He was very nice, but I think he wanted to go. The entire class kind of attacked him, including myself. I got a picture. Ok I'm done typing. The end.
P.S. PRAY!

French Frustration...

I do the same thing the entire time so you should get the gist after about twenty seconds, but watch the whole thing if you like. Go ahead do it! See if I care...I should sleep. I may be 16% slap happy. Ahaha

Mentally Ill Street Dancer...Not really.

It's hard to accomplish anything when he's outside my window breakin' it down. Solution: Film him.

Firetrucks, Po-Po, and Ambulance...So 911 I guess.

Enjoy the hair! I was laying down :)

Universal City and Miranda Cosgrove Video...

Meeting Miranda Cosgrove!

I read on Miranda Cosgroves twitter that she would be doing a CD signing at Hard Rock Cafe and so we went today! You had to buy her new CD then get a wristband to be able to meet her. I read online that the CD's went onsale at 12:00 so we got there around 11:00 and the CD'S didn't even go on sale till 2:00 so we had to wait till then after getting my wristband we went to "The Adjustment Bureau" (which was very good f.y.i) and then I waited in line for another hour then she signed the CD and we talked for second about a mutual acquaintance and that was it...So that was fun, but it was a rather long wait for something really quick, aaaaand we could have just arrived at 5:00 and only waited like 30 minutes...But no use in looking at what we could have done. Video will be uploaded soon and some pictures are below!

Nothing Like Our Mountains...Overlook Trip!

I just can't think of a title...

Well, this last week was very chill. No auditions, but that's to be expected. It's such a finicky business. I've been doing school. I started Advanced Algebra sooo fun. Not. My second lesson completely confused me so mom had to help... her conclusion of the lesson was "Who gives a rip about this stuff!", but I convinced her I had to understand to finish the rest of the book. So, basically it's a lot of useless minutia, but there is helpful stuff as well. I just dislike math. I'm also doing French Rosetta Stone, and that's really fun. Then I have a bunch of acting books to read...and I just started a Stephen King novel so I'll see how I like him. I went to a vocal awareness class last Wednesday at Dennis Lavalles studio (where I also take scene study class on Mondays) and that was very fun. We breathed and shouted and ran around a lot. It sounds fake, but it was helpful and very enjoyable. So, I'm going to keep doing that class. Over the weekend I went to my acting coach (who was in "The Changeling", I don't who she was though) . Then we went up to an overlook on a mountain (uploading the video of that now) and then went over to the Graves house and hung out all day...then ended up spending the night and going "yard saleing" the next morning. Then Sunday we went to church and then a guest luncheon. Then over to the Graves house again and watched a movie. So it was a very enjoyable week, but probably kind of boring to read about. I'm sorry. You will live. I'm going to upload a video of the pool and work out room soon so you can see that! And I think I'm going to meet Miranda Cosgrove tomorrow at a CD signing! So more updates soon!
Oh and the Graves boys have and awesome band called "The Graves" so I'm going to attempt to embed their music video! You can also check out their youtube page here - http://www.youtube.com/user/DigginTheGraves

Warner Bros and all that Jazz...

Finally figured out a new way to upload my videos! So here is part of the video of J. Lo and Mario arriving and their interview and such...Also if you look up photos Jennifer Lopez on the red carpet when she arrived you might see me in the crowd because I was right behind her! Video Below!

So anyways...Had an audition yesterday and it went well. We actually got to go to the Warner Brothers studio lot!!! It was soooo cool! They had all the streets made for filming, but no one was in them so it was like a ghost town kinda...Not really because people would drive by on golf carts looking all important, but ya know. They had old western streets with antique buildings and then a suburban neighborhood and stuff. They had these huge buildings that looked like six story city buildings and then and they were really just a giant wall. We also had to show our ID's and go through a metal detector. Also, I we walked past the Two and a Half Men sound stage where it was filmed. And we went by the art department for Big Bang Theory...So yes it was super exciting. Oh and the girl sitting next to me plays Leonardo Dicaprio's niece in a his new movie! I thought that was cool. Well, we still love the apartment. We're really settling in, and I'm getting my routine up and running. I want to do a video that shows a typical day for us out here, but I haven't had a typical day yet so...But maybe in a while I'll have enough a routine to film that. Ok...I'm kind of rambling so I guess I'm done now...You know what's cool though? That the blog has about 650 views on it! It's probably only 20 people who just check often, but still that's cool! Sorry I'm erratic updater, but considering how bad I am at texting and things like that I think I'm doing pretty well! Ok NOW I'm done...More updates soon! (Hopefully :)

J. Lo at the Grove VIDEO!

First Celebrity sighting!!!

I've been trying to upload my JLo video for the past two days and it WON'T work!!! Ugh...
I'll figure something out... I saw a tweet from J. Lo about being at The Grove which is a giant mall really and she was doing an interview for Extra with Mario Lopez...So we headed out there, it was only 20 minutes from home! And we had to wait about two hours altogether, but I talked to this really sweet lady most of the time and that helped pass time. I was a couple feet from Jennifer a few times, and she was really sweet to all the fans. Mario seemed kinda...I don't know. He wasn't as "warm" but he does interviews there a lot. I held my hand in front of Mario's chest when he was being ushered out, but I realized I was being a creeper so I didn't actually touch him. I was like two inches away though! So it was a good day. I worked on a script and worked out finally earlier today so, yes...very good day! More updates soon!

Sorry, I walked through our new apartment kinda fast...We had to go. Anyway, this is a our new place. We'll be here the next two months! Aaah! It has a pool and a jacuzzi and work out rooms which is VERY nice. Also, the separate rooms is VERY, VERY nice. The room is quite, the walls in the apartment complex are very thick. We are next to a busy street, but in L.A. it's hard not to be it seems. We had an interesting afternoon/evening as well. We went to Target right down the street and got groceries and such, then when we came home we brought all our groceries up aaaaaand our key didn't work in the door of our apartment. So, we called the girl we're subletting from and she made calls to the manager and then she had to drive across L.A. to us....But before she got their we met Miyesha (a.k.a Mi-Mi) and she's called another tenant who is good at breaking into rooms with a credit card (sounds sketchy, it wasn't...she was good cuz she has a two year old that locks her out or something)...And then they couldn't get us so they called the maintenance man and he let us and gave us another key. Then Stephanie (the lady we're subletting from) got her and apologized over and over, and yeah that was our evening. The we watched American Idol...Now I must go. I have scripts to read.... :)
